Embossed Foil Address Book

I wanted something bright and colorful to hold all of our friends and family addresses, Birthdays and any other special occasions. This project was a great way to use up all my scraps of Rinea Foiled Paper.
I used a combination of Glossy Foiled Paper and Star Struck Foiled paper.
For this project, I only embossed the Glossy Foiled Paper.

Glittery Owl Thank You Card

Hi Everyone!
This is my first post of the year for Blank Page Muse, formerly Sin City Stamps.
Every month on the 10th, all the Inspiration team members will participate in group blog hop.
Each month, the hop has a theme.
The theme for this months hop is Turquoise, silver and sparkle!

For my project, I made up this glittery, shimmery owl card.
Enjoy!

Supplies:

  • Blank card plus white cardstock cut to size of card.
  • Ink pads- Turquoise, Pink, Purple and Black
  • Make-up sponges
  • Inka Gold- Turquoise, Violet and Silver
  • Tsukinko Champagne mist ink
  • Glue pen and water brush
  • Glitter and bling
  • Black pen

1. Ink the cardstock square using the make up sponge and turquoise ink.
2. Ink the card edges.

3. Use the sponge to add pink onto one side of the card, follow up with the purple ink.

4. Use the sponge to ink the card edges in some purple.
5. Use the water color brush to add the turquoise and violet inka gold to the card.

6. Stamp the Medallion with each color ink onto the card.
* To create the 'fading' effect, once I stamped the image with fresh ink, I stamped again elsewhere on the card with what ever ink was still on the stamp, this created a 'faded' effect.*
7. Repeat the same process with the Thank You stamp.

8. Use the black ink pad to stamp your Owl and Branch.
9. Accent Owl and Medallions with the silver inka gold.
10. Refresh some outlines with the black pen if desired.

11. Adhere the painted card to the front of your blank card.
12. Accent the border of the card with champagne mist ink.
13. Finish your card with glitter and bling!

Don't like glitter? Here's another version of the same card!
