Mini-Garden-Pots and Dew Drops!

Here is a quick and easy way you can "perk" up your small garden pots with The Robins Nest Dew Drops! I started by cleaning up a few mini pots that have succulents growing in them. Just a bit of window cleaner and a dry cloth to buff the surface dry. In the above pots, I chose colors that did not take away from the plants inside, but would look pretty enough when the sun came out to play.
Here is a mug that got left outside one summer. Now it holds my extra plant markers. For glue, I used Helmar 450. It goes on clear, dries clear and so far is pretty weather hardy. I use this glue for most of my Dew Drop needs.

Dew drops used in this mini garden project:
Carnation Dews
Sun Yellow
Lakeside
Kelly Green
Purple Hair

So, do you have any "mini-garden" pots that need a little something? All it takes is a little bit of dew love. :)
Come on over to The Robins Nest blog for more Dew Drop inspiration!

Faerie Wishes - Card

Here is a simple card I made to keep on hand for Birthdays.
The Faerie and tickets are from the "Born to Fly" clear art stamp set (crafty secrets).
The music sheet is just a copy from vintage music I keep on hand.
I water-colored the Faerie, added glitter, placed on a bit of craft mesh, distressed the music sheet with brown ink and placed everything on a sSU  (parlor prints) stamped card.

Blowing Birthday Wishes your Way - Card.

Here is a simple card I made using cardstock scraps ,Stars Edger Punch, and a Birthday stamp by Stampendous. The punch does the stars and the zig zag edge. After making the front, I had free confetti to use inside.
What have you made recently with scraps?

Handmade with Love!

This months theme is "Handmade with Love"!
I have created this adorable Valentine card for you,
so easy you can probably make one or two right now. :)

Base your final card off the size of your envelope.
Here my card is 4 1/4 X 5 3/4 with the fold at 1 3/4.
You will also need small scissors, scrap card stock, a black doodeling pen, a gold leafing pen, decorative paper, (I used hand made wrapping paper from World market/Cost Plus) and adhesive.

Up Up and Away

Here is a simple card I made for a card swap themed, transportation.
The clouds were made from a Fiskars hand punch and a little bit of foam tape made them pop up.
The hot air balloon rubber stamp is from the $1.50 bin at Michaels craft stores.
I stamped it once on the sky blue paper, then again on a scrap of white paper. I colored in parts of the balloon with a red marker, then cut out just the balloon. I added this to the first stamped image with foam tape. I touched up the balloon and flags with red and silver glitter.
Doesn't make you feel like you are floating Up, Up and away?
